This was an awesome project in which we took a children's book, in this case Follow the Drinking Gourd by Jeanette Winter, and made an audio book out of it. This was an individual project done by myself. I did everything from create the sound design to record myself narrating it. The only thing I do not take credit for is the actual story itself, and the song I have played in the middle of the song, which took me a lot of time to find a style which I felt fit with my interpretation of the story. I even composed the intro and background music, though this is based off of the actual song Follow the Drinking Gourd.
The actual project was put together using Apple's Logic Pro, and sound effects from the Sound-Ideas library of sound effects. I constructed the music using EastWest's synthesizer and the MIDI function in Logic Pro.
