This was an awesome opportunity, through Michigan Tech, to run live sound for the Omega House Benefit Concert in Calumet Michigan. This concert benefited the Omega House hospice home in Houghton Michigan. The concert featured two groups, May Erlewine & Seth Bernard and Raven Congress, in a wonderful evening of amazing music. As a class project, a group of sound students from Michigan Tech went up to Calumet and set up every aspect of the concert, the live sound, the monitors, and some recording, I was in charge of front of house. Using a Yamaha Ov1 sound board, I was able to mix a very good show for all the fans that evening, both bands were extremely happy with the front of house sound. I was very happy just to have the opportunity to participate in such a wonderful event.
