The Youth Concert Connection is an excellent organization which brings christian bands into churches and has them not only give concerts, but just have a good time. It prides itself on offering a safe and fun environment for youths of the Traverse City area. It started at Northern Lakes Community Church by Matt Rosenberg, and grew from there. I was their main sound person, which meant very improvised mixing situations, but I always got the job done. It was an awesome cause, and gave me a ton of practices in sharpening my mixing ability.
